Your portfolio’s biggest technical risks rarely show up in the deck.
Technical due diligence, AI-readiness reviews and delivery teams for your portfolio — from engineers who have shipped, rescued and scaled products for two decades.
What we can do for you
The six things we do most for investors
Technical due diligence
A clear, evidence-based read on architecture, codebase, team and delivery risk — before the term sheet, not after.
AI-readiness across the portfolio
Company-by-company reviews of where AI pays back — turning a buzzword into a prioritized roadmap.
Delivery teams for portfolio companies
Senior squads that ship — placed with the company that needs momentum most.
Rescue engagements
Stalled builds, departing CTOs, unmaintainable codebases — stabilized and put back on track.
Fractional CTO
Senior technical leadership for companies between hires — architecture, hiring and roadmap in safe hands.
Post-acquisition modernization
Consolidate and modernize acquired tech estates — so integration plans survive contact with the codebase.
Pricing
Pricing shouldn’t be a mystery.

Standard FTE day rates
We work with investors and their portfolio companies in long-term engagements where trust has been established and time & material invoicing is applied. It is our preferred mode of engagement and ends up being the most economical for clients, since only required, specced and delivered work is invoiced. Rates below are daily rates for a standard 8h workday of a Full Time Employee (FTE).

Driving simulator
We augmented the team’s capacity delivering a complex driving-simulator solution with many components — force feedback, eye tracking and pulse tracking — using frameworks from .NET services to Python AI pipelines for driver-performance scoring, plus a new cloud-managed simulator component. As fractional CTOs we helped steer key architectural and business decisions and managed their developers.

Sports tracking & statistics platform
Challenging real-time machine-vision processing of four cameras to detect game score, ins & outs and other stats. An Apple Watch and mobile app were part of the solution, letting padel centers offer a gamified experience to their members and players.

Privately-leased cars marketplace
The client had an idea for a marketplace serving the untapped market of privately leased cars. We delivered several Figma UX-prototype iterations, then an MVP combining a .NET backend and a Bubble.io no-code frontend — released at a local EV car fair on a strict deadline. We continued the partnership with a unique bidding engine for transferring private leases to a new owner.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What exactly does Indigo Labs do?
We’re an engineering partner that takes SMEs, ISVs, startups and investors from AI idea to AI in production: custom software with AI built in, chatbots and agents, machine learning and forecasting, and legacy systems made AI-native. AI-augmented senior teams, 20+ years of delivery, and a Microsoft Solutions Partner designation re-verified every year.
You build with AI — what does that mean for quality and confidentiality?
AI-augmented delivery means our senior engineers ship with a fleet of coding and research agents — more output per engineer, no junior bench. Every solution still passes code review and our mentoring process, and we run evals per task, switching tools as the frontier moves. An NDA is signed before we see your requirements, and your code and data are never used to train public models.
What happens after launch?
We’re built to be a long-term partner, not a one-off vendor. Engagements routinely continue from architecture and implementation into support and maintenance of production systems — many of our client relationships span years. You choose the shape: a dedicated team, on-demand capacity, or a clean handover to your own engineers.
